Finally, here it is, the map of the Arena! I will try to update the map ASAP after every chapter. The map shows where each of the tributes are located when the anthem plays at night (sunset). So, here are the various locations of tributes! Note: these maps are very rough sketches and mostly just for a general idea, further description of the rooms will be found in the story. (Will be updated with staircase locations/lift locations next chapter, whoops just realized I forgot to put them in.) First floor is the lowest, fourth floor is the top, exposed in the open air.

Fanmail #14
From egberts-party-hard via Tumblr: A question for the escorts, mentors and tributes of the 125th Hunger
Games: Since you all got phones/tribs were allowed phones, what was all
of your favorite selfies? If you don't have one, what one would you have
liked to have gotten?
((Note: This isn't in the ask but I was meaning to make lists of each tribute's camera roll, so I'm just going to go ahead and do that now while we're at it!))
---
Chance: My camera roll includes selfies with my mentor and a good handful of famous people. I also had a bunch of others just requesting a selfie or a picture with me. It was pretty neat. My favorite selfie was definitely this one of me and Nerio where he's kissing my cheek and it's adorable.
Wicke: I didn't take as many pictures as some of the others but I still got some good selfies with some important people. My favorite is this one. Me and Acacia with our Ace pride flags and face paint. *small smile* It was so much fun.
Blessing: I just took pictures with a lot of Capitolites. My favorite one of the night is definitely this one that I got of Cartier right before he sneezed. Look at his silly face! *snickers*
Cartier: OMG THAT ONE IS MY NEW FAVORITE. I WANT TO PUT IT UP ON MY WALL. My favorite from my camera roll is this one. Me and Miracle under the trans flag together. It was so much fun to see her all happy and proud.
Namibia: I didn't take as many pictures, but I do have this lovely one of myself and Honore together! And I have one of the mentors and tributes that I took during Phase One that turned out beautifully. It's like a family picture.
.
Acacia: I don't think I can pick a favorite!! My camera roll is mostly pictures of Wicke. I couldn't help it, every time she was looking particularly beautiful (all night long) I just had to take ap icture. I think this one is my favorite, though, just because of how she's smiling so cutely. We were on the Ferris wheel when I took this.
Dania: I took a lot of selfies with celebrities but I think that my favorite is this group picture of me with Maggie and Em and Riggs. It's just so lively and I look like a boss in it.
Vesperus: My camera roll is pretty limited. I mean, I took some pictures with fans, but I think my favorite is definitely this one. It's me, and Pluto and Acacia at Pride.
Nona: I took SO MANY pictures but my favorite is this selfie with my brother Tertius because we both look like absolute bosses.
Cerena: I didn't take many pictures, but I did ask Pluto to take one with myself, my husband, and Demetrius. I do like that one.
.
Bec: How am I just supposed to pick one!? I took about a million, with a million different people. I really like the one I have with Dyna and I at Pride, and I love the one I took with all the new kiddoes that I spent time with, it's adorable. Also, I love the picture of Wolf and I under the trans flag, mostly because I'm sure Erwin is beside himself that I got to meet Wolf Jansing and take a picture with him. Oh, and the one I took with the whole band after we sang the Enormous Penis Song! *laughs* I also took some pictures of Aristotle dancing with Wizard, because he spent basically the whole night asking for advice about how to ask him. It was sweet.
Ellie: I didn't take any pictures, but I had someone take a picture of myself with my husband, so that was nice.
Tav: My camera roll is basically just pictures of my daughter, honestly. My favorite picture is this one of Lottie dancing during Phase One. She just looks absolutely adorable. Wait, no, my favorite is this one, that I took when she and Bec met for the first time. See how she's looking up at him with so much admiration in her eyes?
Kaelys: The only picture on my camera is the example selfie Piccolo took with Beck and me, so I guess by default that's my favorite.
Alanena: I took SO MANY PICTURES. I mean, I have one of the Capitol landscape I took on the Ferris wheel that's really pretty, but I think my favorite is this one of Jovenena and I kissing under the rainbow flag. *winks*
.
Nerio: I took SO MANY PICTURES TOO. I took a lot of selfies with celebrities, and though Luna didn't want to be in my pictures I got one with Port and Blushina too. I think that my favorite... I dunno. The first one Chance and I took was funny because the flash was on and we didn't know it so it just catches our shock and regret as we're blinded by flash. *laughs a bit* It's just really goofy. I mean, I like the ones where we look super hot, but that one just makes me smile because it makes me remember how much fun we had.
Luna: I took a lot of pictures of myself, but there are only a few that I liked enough to keep. I never did take one with Michael but part of me wishes that I had. My favorite is one of me during Phase One because the lighting is just right and it's honestly 100/10.
Port: I'm not much of a pictures kind of guy. The only picture I really took was of a cupcake because it was decorated super beautifully and I liked it. So I guess that's my favorite.
Michael: I took some pictures too, not all that many. I think that my favorite is probably this one, of me and Thor because you can't even tell I'm in a chair. It looks kind of like the old me.
Blushina: I didn't take TOO MANY pictures but I did get some with the important people. My favorite is this one of me and all the Victors I escorted. *smiles* It brings back a lot of fond memories.
.
Joule: I think the only picture I took the whole time was with Tim in the Ferris wheel, so I'd pick that. Even if I had others I'd pick it because it was probably the happiest part of the party for me.
Dyna: I took a lot of pictures with Bec and the kids and UV and other celebrities, and this is going to sound kind of silly but my favorite one is this one of me and Bec. Bec was not looking so he's just kind of staring off into the distance the other direction, but like... Look how masculine I look here. *grins* Even if Bec wasn't ready I look pretty hot here.
Tim: I took a couple of pictures, one with Joule in the Ferris wheel and some with my Victor friends, but my favorite is definitely this selfie with Trina because she just looks so precious and adorable here.
Kelly: Didn't take any. Whoops.
Maxim: Hm... My favorite is this family picture we had taken at the party. I didn't take any pictures myself, though, I simply had no reason to.
.
Riggs: I took a bunch of pictures with about a million different celebrities. Don't tell Gian but I also took one with Prentice. I really like a lot of the group pictures, but those definitely aren't my favorite. No, my favorite is definitely the one I took with Gian before the party! Look how cute he is here, just his natural self. Plus, I look really good here too, which helps.
Desiree: My favorite is definitely the pictures I took of the environment. It was really easy to get these beautiful aesthetic shots. I took a beautiful one at the top of the Ferris wheel, looking down on the city. I bet Aimee would love to see it.
Gian: I took some with Agalia and a few with Riggs before the party, and one with Jovenena. I think of them all my favorite is this one with me and Agalia and Riggs together at Phase One because we're all killing it.
Anatoly: I only took a few, with my sister. I like them, though, because they make me think of the fun that we had. It was good.
Jovenena: *giggles* I took selfies with a bunch of people! I got one with Wolf during Phase One and with a bunch of my friends during Phase Two, and one with my tributes of course! I also took a selfie with Alanena under the flag. Partially because I wanted a copy of the picture for myself, but mostly just to have another excuse to kiss her.
.
Syca: I took some pictures but not a lot just because I didn't want to look fucking stupid in all the pictures because I'm no good at taking selfies. My favorite is by far the one I took with Wolf and Ani, just because they're both so cool and they helped me a lot with a lot of advice!
Persei: I took a couple of pictures with people I hung out with. My favorite is this one, of me and Ollie at Phase One. Not really because of him, I mean, he makes it better, but... Anyways, I just look good in it, alright? Mature. Like a Victor.
Kendal: I didn't take any pictures this time, I just couldn't bring myself to knowing what's going to happen the next morning. Besides, having a photographic memory kind of negates the need for pictures. *small laugh*
Helen: I TOOK A BUNCH OF PICTURES WITH A MILLION PEOPLE. Friends, fans, and everything in between! I think that my favorite is tied between three! There's this one, which is the #UVBandFam and it's the best picture we have to date of all of us together, which is awesome and totally going on my wall. Then there's this one with the D7 Team that's really good! I just... Try not to think that at least one of them will be dead in a matter of weeks...(The other one is this one of me and Ani together at Phase One! Just... God, he looks so cute in this one. We look so cute in this one. Don't tell him that though. It's embarrassing.)
Anakyn: I had about a thousand people wanting to take pictures with me, which was neat, and I took some pictures of the aesthetic just in case I'd ever want to channel it into a creative project someday. My favorite is probably a tie as well. I really like the #UVBandFam picture, of course, but I also like the one immediately preceding the good one because Helen's making the most adorable silly face because she wasn't ready for the picture. *laughs a little bit* Oh God. (My other favorite is this one of the two of us together at Phase One. I dunno, it just looks so natural and she looks so cute in it. It looks like in that one we might actually be... Like, a couple. Maybe. That's stupid. Don't tell her I said that.)
.
Semper: There are only two pictures on my photo roll and they're both of me and... Tor. *soft smile* I don't know if I can pick a favorite, I like them both, with bunny ears and without. They're fun.
Ester: I took a lot. I took one with all the Careers and with various Capitolites and famous people. Although I think that by far, my favorite is this one I took with Attila after he kissed me. I mean, it's just so happy because we were both freaking out in a good way, and will always make me think of that moment in which I was: literally: swept off my feet.
Tartan: I didn't take all that many pictures, but I think this one of the District Eight group describes them all well. Semper's just being mousy, Ester is all confident and strong, Bonita looks pissed and Ant is frowning like he always does. *laughs*
Ant: I didn't really take any pictures but I did ask Ester to take a picture of myself and my sister. She just looked so beautiful, I didn't want to forget that moment of time. I think I'm going to print it and put it on my wall.
Bonita: I took a few pictures myself but only with people I cared about! My favorite, though, is this one that I took myself because I just look sexy as fuck in it.
.
Jasper: Well, I took a lot of selfies but then June and I got into a war of who could snipe the most hilarious picture of the other. I got this wonderful shot of her when we were in the Ferris wheel. Isn't this angle charming? *snickers*
June: Yeah, I took a bunch of selfies with a bunch of people and then did my best to take pictures of Jasper. I think I got the worst one of him right here, see that? Mid-yawn. *laughs*
Prentice: A lot of people wanted my picture and honestly there's just a point when you're sick of it. *sighs* As for a favorite picture, I don't have one in particular.
Vale: I took a couple selfies with my tributes and my blind date. This one is my favorite, it's me and Jacian together taken by Thack. *smiles*
Demetrius: I took a lot of selfies with my friends and just partied it out. I think my favorite is just this one of me and my group of friends at Phase Two. It was nice to have some fun and let go for a little bit, y'know?
.
Attila: Hm. Didn't take a lot, but that one with Ester's pretty cute. It's fun. Probably the best moment of the whole thing.
Miya: My photo roll is pretty limited, I didn't really take a lot of pictures. I have some with Arthur and Roxanne, and one with Charlemagne, a couple with Capitolites, and one with Dania. My favorite picture... Probably this one of the group of Careers. We actually look like we like each other, amazing, isn't it? *laughs a bit*
Arthur: I took a bunch of pictures of Lethia all dressed up for the event, and we took some selfies with me and Caspar and Lethia. But for my favorite, this is easy. As much as I love our adorable daughter, my favorite picture is this one. I took it of Caspar and Valenty slow-dancing together for the first time. It's adorable.
Roxanne: I took a few pictures with the tributes and other mentors, but draw the line at the Capitolites. My favorite picture is this one of me and Vaughn, because we haven't really taken a picture together in a long time.
Charlemagne: Oh, I took a lot of pictures of my kids dancing and spending time with their friends. I think my favorite is this one, though. It's a picture of my whole family that Arthur was nice enough to take for us. *soft smile* It's definitely frame-worthy.
.
Ollie: I took selfies with a bunch of people! They're kind of addicting, once you start, it's hard to stop! I also took some pictures of Piccolo playing for the Symphony during Phase One! I think my favorite is this one that I took of Jacques during Phase One, because the light makes his hair look golden and he has this really serene look on his face. It's cute.
Daria: I love selfies! I took a bunch with about a million different people! This whole night was a dream come true! My favorite picture is definitely this limo selfie. It always reminds me of how fun it was to ride in the limo and be famous!
Chervil: I took a couple pictures of my cousin Jude and a selfie or two. I think my favorite is this one, though. *blushes* Miracle took it of the two of us together. I look totally awkward, but I was totally awkward in the moment too.
Skeeter: I really didn't take any pictures.
Bonaventure: I took a couple pictures with my tributes and with some of the other people. I think my favorite is this one of all the escorts just because everyone looks professional.
.
Jacques: I didn't take a lot of pictures. I took a selfie or two but that was really it because I was more focused on getting sponsors. I think my favorite is this selfie that Ollie took of the two of us because he just looks adorable.
Ashlyn: I didn't take any pictures. I hate pictures.
Braelyn: I took a couple pictures of Allegra dancing and of Jacques and Ollie. My favorite is this one of Allegra up on stage. I hate that she looks so angry, but it's such a genuine shot because that's how she felt in that moment.
Allegra: I took a selfie or two with Hoke because I felt cute, but during Phase Two I was too distracted to take very many pictures. I don't really have a favorite because right now I'm still not sure what I'm going to do about him, so... I abstain from this question.
Ambrose: I took a bunch of pictures. I think my favorite, besides the #UVBandFam, is definitely this one, just because look how fabulous I am? (Also, I have this one of Thor's ass that I sniped earlier and it looks amazing. Hell yeah. Also, look at this one I got of him up on stage. He's so adorable. Look how happy he is. He's laughing. This is before he got super drunk but damn, look how cute my doof is.)
((Note: This isn't in the ask but I was meaning to make lists of each tribute's camera roll, so I'm just going to go ahead and do that now while we're at it!))

Deleted Scene: Expecting
(During Phase Two)
Joule found himself on the Ferris Wheel.
He hadn't had too much fun at the party so far, he was just too nervous. He could lose Rilah. The reality was very, very real now. The guilt pressed down on his chest like stones, and each and every time her face came up in his mind another stone was added. It was horrible. He hated it. He hated himself. And now, the Games were tomorrow. Yeah, maybe when there was music playing, maybe when Em was smiling and facilitating dancing competitions and couples were getting together it was easy to forget what was going to happen the very next day. Maybe when the Pride flags were waving, when people were dancing, when they rode in limos and let their hair down, it was easy to forget what was going to happen. Joule wasn't so easily fooled, though. He knew exactly what was going to happen the next day. People were going to die. And he could be one of them.
Everyone has that one thing they wish they had never done. And Joule's was in the most critical moment, when his life was on the line. He had a huge target on his back, no allies, and now he was alone, depressed. Maybe dying wouldn't be so bad. Maybe it would be easier than living. But if there was even an ounce of hope that he could somehow mend things with the love of his life, Joule would keep going. He had to. He had no other choice.
Joule wasn't really in the mood to be dragged on the Ferris wheel by his mentor. Somehow, he ended up there. He was in the enclosed pod, looking out the glass wall at the city. They got higher and higher. Joule's eyes scaled the city. The lights, the lights that were glimmering that were powered by his hard work back home, the hard work of his love and... Yes, and Rajai too. The people down below looked so small. In a way that was kind of comforting, honestly. His problems were so small from up there. Chance was the size of an ant that Joule could have stepped on if he wanted to. Somehow it helped. He looked out, into the distance as far as he could see, knowing that somewhere out there, Rilah was at home, and... Who knew what she was doing? The thought that she was crying broke Joule's heart. He jumped when he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. It was Tim.
"Amazing view, isn't it?" the man asked. Joule swallowed hard and just nodded. For a second he forgot that his mentor was even there.
"Everything looks so small," Joule said quietly.
"Yeah, it does. So, how're you feeling?"
"Sick." That was the only word he could come up with to even start to describe all the feelings that were swirling around in his stomach, the rocks pressing down on his chest.
"You still have a chance," Tim said. Joule winced when he said that last word, associating it with the tribute that was certainly going to target him the very next morning. "Sorry."
"It's fine," Joule breathed quietly. He had no idea that emotions could actually make him physically sick. He always said he wanted to feel everything, but was it really worth it?
"You can still make it out," Tim said. "You're the Underdog."
"That's just the nice way of saying I'm a Bloodbath." Joule's voice wobbled on the last word, as he hadn't really expected to say it out loud. Hearing it out loud was just as horrible as he imagined it would be.
"No, that's not true. You're smart, Joule, and you have a lot of intuition. You can make your way out of this mess."
"I wish I believed it like you did," Joule muttered. His mentor frowned, but Joule was just being completely honest. He really did wish he could believe it. He knew that he would never make it if he kept thinking so negatively, but he couldn't help it. Everything was crashing down and there was nothing he could do about it. He was paying for his mistake, the mistake that was broadcast in front of the entire nation. He would always be that person that fucked everything up.
"It's okay," Tim said quietly. "Sometimes the fear of dying is the only motivating factor for tributes in the Games. And tributes like that have won before. Not every Victor had a tremendous number of people to get back to."
"I bet none of them have had zero," Joule said.
"You don't know that."
"I'm pretty damn sure."
"What about your family?"
Joule bit his lip. "I guess. M... My parents didn't know, though. That I... Wasn't straight." He stared out the window through glassy eyes.
"You said you had a brother? What about him?"
"He didn't know either."
"They're probably more accepting than you think."
"I appreciate where you're coming from, Tim, but I'm not really in the mood to be optimistic right now."
Tim paused, then just sighed. "I understand." They stood there in silence, Joule watching the colorful, bright, flashing lights and thinking about the tremendous dams and windmills back home. He would probably never see them again.
"What about me?" Tim asked.
"What about you?"
"Would you consider coming back for me?"
"You're my mentor. You have to invest time into me."
"That's true. My obligation is to invest all of my time and energy into my tributes. But it's not all that often that I become attached to my tributes."
Joule crossed his arms. "All we did was make blankets."
"I was inspired by you."
"How?" Joule glanced over, still not fully believing that his mentor wasn't just pulling things out of his ass to make Joule feel better.
Tim gestured him to sit on the benches in the pod, which Joule did, and Tim sat down across from him. He had that twinkle in his eye that meant they were probably about to have a deep talk. Joule didn't want to. He didn't want to cry again, he was fucking tired of it, not to mention exhausted, physically and emotionally.
Tim reached into his pocket and pulled out some folded up pieces of paper. Paper-clipped to the first sheet was a picture of a little boy with dark, messy hair, a gap between his two front teeth and a big grin. Below the picture, it said, Hi, my name is Joel! I'm 11 years old and I need a loving home!
"Wh... What is this?" Joule asked, flipping through. Just a bunch of information about Tim and Trina. Wait a second... "Wait, I think I know."
Tim grinned. "That's right. Trina and I are adopting."
"Really!? Oh my God, Tim! That's amazing!" Joule, still holding the papers, hugged his mentor tightly. He actually felt... Happy. Yeah, he was excited. Tim was going to be a father! Joule knew he was going to be amazing. It was the first time he'd smiled since the disaster happened. "I'm so... I'm so happy for you!"
"Thanks!" Tim said. His hugs were tight and warm and comforting. "The whole name thing was totally unintentional, if you were wondering," he added, and Joule actually laughed a little bit. For just a second some of that weight and sadness was taken off. Here he was, the amazing view of the city in the background, celebrating a piece of amazing news with someone who deserved the world. In that moment, Joule was able to forget where they were.
"You're going to be a great Dad," Joule said.
"You inspired me," Tim said. "The next morning I called Trina to talk to her about it." He laughed a bit. "She already had this one in mind, you see."
Joule smiled. The sadness started to sink back in, at realizing that he and Rilah will probably never celebrate news like this. He was still happy for them, of course, but at the same time, there was just this little twist in his stomach. This small twinge of sadness.
"No matter what, I'll stand by you," Tim said earnestly, putting a hand on Joule's shoulder. "You can grow and heal and mend whatever needs mended. I know you can, Joule. You're a very observant, intelligent young man with more potential for greatness than you think. So, how about doing it for the three of us, yeah? I'm sure that Joel will want to meet you and thank you for bringing us together."
Joule actually smiled a bit at that. Maybe, just maybe, there was hope somewhere within the grief and misery. Maybe there was still a chance to do some good in the world.
"Yeah," he said, smiling slightly as the pod started to lower. "Yeah, I'll do my best for you guys."
