-It wasn’t until Vesp surprised him with a visit that he realized that he was failing most of his classes. He just couldn’t hold interest in them.
-Pluto felt like he was disappointing Vesp, who was the only real family he had left, and wasn’t sure what to do.
-Then he saw this band playing at one of the school functions. And they were… Really good. And the lead singer was hot.
-So he decided to approach them, as much as he hated social interaction. He just felt like this could be his ticket to success and making Vesp proud.
-”Why are they all so stunned? Do I have something in my teeth?”
-He joined the band and they changed him just as much as he changed them
-Soon, everyone in the Capitol wanted to see Pluto Nicastro playing music. But he refused to play without his band behind him. They got a contract and started recording.

Appearance: Wolf has an undercut, with the buzzed part its natural dark brown and the long part is dyed a different color every two months or so. He has bright, naturally blue eyes. He has an eyebrow piercing and his left ear is pierced. He's the tallest of the band members and hulking, with a very intimidating look to him.

-So he plowed into school, causing his training status to plummet
-He lied to his parents and said he was doing his best and the others were just much better
-Which caused them to force him to train more
-Which he actually just used the time to study but worked just hard enough to sustain 19th place so he was at least in the top 20
-Took the entrance exam to Uni in 3 behind his parents’ backs just in case it didn’t work for him
-But ended up earning a scholarship- not quite a full scholarship, but enough to make it very plausible for him to go to Uni
-Told his parents and they were not happy that he lied to them for so long, so mad they almost refused to pay the rest of of his tuition
-Then they cooled down and agreed, but told him he’d better work his ass off
-He agreed quickly, promising them that he wouldn’t fuck this up and no more lies
-He got to school majoring in Biochemistry and dove into his studies full force
-His first Friday there he went to a party with a couple of guys from one of his classes
-Those guys were quick to find busty girls to talk to while Thor just stood awkwardly in a corner

-But they still need a singer, and maybe someone to play the keyboard… They scout out the piano practice room and that’s when they catch sights of a sophomore that is actually… Really talented?

-Thor was ready to give up on him but Wolf was not, and soon they had a lead singer
-They choose a band name and start practicing
-Their first gig was AMAZING and Thor loved it- he even agreed to sing backup

-After going to pride for the first time, realized that he felt... weird knowing that everyone saw him as a cis boy- truth is he’d never paid his gender identity much thought

-Got to university and realized that he was on his own, in a District he didn’t recognize, surrounded by strangers, many of them a totally different race from him
-Spent his first semester depressed and homesick, overall just feeling alone and sad
-Tried to make friends and had some people that he talked to every once in a while, but didn’t have any real friends
-Started smoking three weeks into the semester, even though he knew it was bad for him
-Didn’t realize how bad the addiction was until he went home for his winter break and had to go without it for a month

Joost Bishop, 31
Position: Head of Technology

Appearance: Joost is agender, dmab, and uses he/him pronouns. He has bright red violet hair that is usually absolutely everywhere. He’s a fan of very sudden and very drastic changes of hair color, and halfway through the story dyes his hair dark blue, a stark contrast from the magenta. He's tall but is often hunched over a remote control to a drone he's fixing.
Personality: Joost likes to have attention because he likes to have people looking at him and he likes to lead them on. However, his one true love is his technology, mostly because he’s nervous about losing his virginity because he wants it to be picture perfect and he’s nervous about commitment. He often drowns in his projects and gets distracted by his work, missing out on what’s happening around him. His favorite hobby is taking apart drones and putting them back together again. He loves a challenge and rarely gives up because he loves the victory of success. He's extremely intelligent and a great problem-solver, seeing things from angles that sometimes seem ridiculous but might just be ridiculous enough to work. He's very loyal to those he respects, but isn't much of a social butterfly.

Appearance: Honoré is a short, wiry woman with bubblegum pink hair, tinted pink skin, and synthetically magenta eyes. Nowadays she usually wears a bubblegum pink wig to hide that her hair is thinning and has had surgeries to make her look younger.
Personality: Honoré is a bit snobbish and likes to win because she is extremely competitive, but is also very compassionate towards her fellow Capitolites. She thinks the Capitolite is much better than the Districts, but still buys Victors often to spend the night with them. She usually ranks the Victors based on how well they can please her, and won't stop talking about it, much to the annoyance of some of the others. She is still very interested in the young, attractive hotshots and thinks that she would have a chance with them because she has money and thinks she looks much younger than she really does. She is very sure of herself and extremely stubborn. She likes to bake and knit, and of course, she is very smart scientifically because she’s in charge of mutts. She is a friend of Pilotheos’s and knows his tastes, so she’s an important asset.

Personality: Mr. Montford is very organized and usually knows what he’s doing, which Lux respects and appreciates. He’s relaxed, but knows how to be professional in a work environment, though outside of the work environment he’s hilarious and especially loud. He's also a major gossip that likes to know what's going on. Unlike many of the others, though, Mr. Montford knows what is and isn't appropriate in the workplace, and remains very professional when he's on the job. As soon as he's off, though, he wants to take his boss and coworkers out for drinks, where he can get every detail of their romantic and sexual lives. He's pretty easygoing so a lot of people trust him with their secrets. Then they realize their mistake. He tries to play matchmaker sometimes but it usually doesn't go well. Overall, though, he's a good person that means well, even if he causes a lot of trouble sometimes.

Appearance: Saxon's favorite color is gold, and it's the color of her hair, eyes, and lips. Back in the day she even wore gold eyelashes, but has taken a more conservative style with age. She used to wear big black glasses, but now only has a simple pair of reading glasses she only wears occasionally. She always enjoyd corsets and old-timey outfits but can also rock a suit, which she did almost all the time when she was working. Now she wears comfortable clothes, but still wears suits when she leaves the house. She will very rarely be seen without her golden hair up in a modest bun.
Personality: Saxon was always very ambitious and competitive, and was plugged in as an Announcer by her friend's older sister, Santana, when she was a Head Gamemaker. Saxon was very ambitious, aiming to secure a Gamemaking position. She was accepted extremely well, and succeeded in most everything she did as an Announcer. However, she soon became overwhelmed by having to watch the gore of the Games year after year and keep her composure, and realized that the Games weren't all she thought they were. Instead of going to be a Gamemaker, Saxon decided to quit announcing in favor of raising a child. She adopted Lux when he was a baby and raised him as a single mother, living comfortably. Lux always lived in her shadow, and became a Head Gamemaker in hopes of upholding her legacy. He is a big Mama's boy, so he always comes back to catch up with Saxon and the two of them are very close. She knows him better than everyone and isn't afraid to tell him when he needs to get his shit together. She wants him to do what makes him happy, though, not try to uphold her legacy, and feels bad that he couldn't see that earlier. She's actually terrified for him, after what happened to Santana and Diesel traumatized Saxon, and is constantly worried about him.

Appearance: Vanellope is a woman of Asian complexion with hair that is dyed dark purple and brown eyes. She doesn't alter much else about herself, and usually wears light, natural-looking make-up. She has a few tattoos: one on her neck and one on her hip, but that is the most she has in terms of altercations.
Personality: Vanellope is extremely studious and organized. She is intelligent, but keeps to herself. She sometimes seems stuck-up, but when you talk to her you see that she's actually a very humble person, just quiet. She is very honest with Lux because she knows that he needs it sometimes. She's also very good at buttering him up with food. Her grandmother Belphoebe was an escort for District 5 for a while, and her Aunt Marley was friends with a District 1 escort's daughter, so Vanellope's always been involved with the Games. She wanted to get a Games-related job that wasn't dangerous, and decided on the modest position of secretary. She keeps Lux sane pretty much and is learning everything about how he functions so she can always stay on his good side. She is not a fan of Cupid because he is hard to figure out and pretty much has proven that he'll cut down whoever he needs to in order to stay alive.

Appearance: Numitor has burgundy hair that gets in his eyes. Numitor has heterochromia, his left eye a bright, beautiful blue and his right a deep, hazel-ish brown. He usually wears a brown contact in his blue eye because he hates the attention of others and doesn’t want it. He has slight freckles on his cheeks that only appear when he gets a lot of sun. He doesn't smile often, but when he does it's quite charming.
Personality: Numitor is a person that feels things very strongly. He's extremely withdrawn and shy, but extremely intelligent. He was shown to be bright from a very young age, when he learned to open cabinets and drawers and how to steal important files/pencils/anything to get his parents' attention, earning him the nickname Numi Mouse from his mother. Numitor is very sensitive, and when faced with tragedy he just kind of shuts down. Numitor is very sheltered and shy, and has a lot of problems talking to people because of that. Even before his parents died, he was a quiet kid, and after he just became even more withdrawn. He is keen and observant, and good at reading people because of this. He is passionate, though, and feels very deeply, which makes him a bit rash. He opens up to people that open up to him first, and if you earn his trust he will absolutely pour everything he is into you, even if it means he will get hurt later. He is insightful and intelligent, and has a lot of potential for greatness, though he doesn't see this very often because his self-esteem is horrible and he's by nature a pessimist. He is trying to give Cupid a chance and to be the best older brother he can be, but he puts a lot of pressure on himself because of that. He does have certain things that he adores, though, and he gets so excited about those things.

Appearance: Aristotle is a mini-Leviticus, and that can’t be argued by anyone. He has naturally brown and eyes that are naturally the same color. He was excited when Cupid let him dye his hair teal, and he now wears blue contacts. He's tall for his age and has freckles on his cheeks.
Personality: Aristotle loves the Games and is always excited for them, and doesn’t understand why Numitor’s mad Cupid picked up a job in them. He was the first to call Q Cupid, just because he’d learned about Cupid in school and thought of Quantavius, and that touched Q enough that he started responding better to Cupid than anything else. Aristotle is fame-hungry and dreams of someday being famous like Anakyn (and now Numitor and Cupid). He's very sunny and tends to be optimistic, and usually lacks tact and manners. He is also very blunt and lacks tact, that's for sure. He also overshares, telling everyone details about his life that would be depressing with a sunny smile on his face. He used to be a super popular, bratty rich kid before he lost it all and his friends stopped talking to him. Aristotle is just excited for the Games and has a lot of memorabilia for it because his parents always spoiled him with it, and is now frustrated that he won’t get all the keepsakes, especially the limited edition ones, but that’s all made up for by the fact that he’ll get to see the tributes every step of the way in person. Aristotle is a bit spoiled and entitled, but ultimately easy to please and easy to bribe, which makes him perfect for Cupid to parent. His memories of his father are present, so he wants to keep his last name. Aristotle is a big cuddler that’s very fun and has a big, sunny personality. He’s not the brightest, so he can easily be manipulated and taken advantage of with physical gifts.

Personality: A
complete sweetie. Trixie is always willing to give second chances and
barely understands most of what’s going on. She knows that her parents aren't going to come back, but doesn't like to spend time being sad about it. Trixie is a sweet girl who loves to dress up like a princess and wear dresses, even
if Cupid can’t really afford them. She barely knew her parents and didn’t
remember him at all, willingly dropping their last name and accepting Q as
her father, much to Numitor’s dismay. Trixie is Q’s main inspiration
for picking himself up, as he’s determined to protect her from prejudice
and wants to give her all he can. He absolutely spoils her, and everything he does is for her at first because she was the first that won their heart. She is very positive and optimistic, and though she isn't exactly old enough to understand what the Games are, she still enjoys them and likes to play them with Aristotle. She's fairly bright for her age and also very creative and artistic. She doesn't like it when people argue, especially when it's Numitor and Cupid, so they've learned to keep it down until her bedtime. She is very sweet and affectionate,
and loves her brothers and Q even if they don’t always get along.

Personality: Em is a loud person. He's always upbeat and energetic, and will always offer a smile. He is very charismatic and though he's seen as weird, loud, and annoying, he is simply unafraid to be himself. He is kind and good at complimenting people because he is very good at words. He loves to lift other people up but can be selfless to a fault sometimes. He loves with all his heart, and falls fast and hard. He has his own weird, unique style and flaunts it shamelessly. He has very high self-esteem and is extremely confident in himself and who he is. He wants to help the world and serve however he can. And, to top it off, he has a fiery passion for music. He wants to use that to launch music education in the Districts and help those who need it. Em is a goober that doesn't want to grow up fully, but sometimes comes off spoiled/entitled because he is unaware of just how fortunate he and his family are. He can take everything in stride and is an extremely talented musician. He has perfect pitch and progressed through school very quickly. What started as a rivalry with fellow student Benjamin Mcginty quickly turned into a romance, and they're happy together, as much as they tease each other. He's a trumpet player that is just as loud and brassy as the instrument that he plays.
